The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 40.0mm bore x 39.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.2 cubic centimeters.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-12 front tire and a 130/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a oil damped telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a oil damped coil spring. The Spartan 50 was fitted with a 1.11 Gallon (4.20 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 198.42 pounds (90.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.0 inches (1270 mm) long.
