The Gilera KZ 125 was a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, single cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Gilera between 1986 and 1987. Max torque was 13.28 ft/lbs (18.0 Nm) @ 9300 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 24.94 HP (18.6 KW) @ 9750 RPM.

A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/80-16 front tire and a 120/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 240mm disc. 2-piston caliper in the front and a single 240mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 36mm adjustable telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a adjustable monoshock.

The 1986 MY Gilera KZ 125 has, at its heart, a two-stroke, liquid-cooled, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can reach a maximum power output of 25 horsepower and 18 Nm of torque.

Standard fittings include a 36mm adjustable telescopic front fork coupled to an adjustable monoshock as a rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes, a full-faring with a windscreen, a dual seat, passenger grab handles, an under-seat exhaust system, an analogue instrument cluster, a square headlight and slotted-disc wheels.

The 1987 MY Gilera KZ 125 comes with a 36mm adjustable telescopic front fork coupled to an adjustable monoshock as a rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes, a full-faring with a windscreen, a dual seat, passenger grab handles, an under-seat exhaust system, an analogue instrument cluster, a square headlight and slotted-disc wheels.

In the engine department it is powered by a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerplant, paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, that can produce a claimed 25 horsepower and 18 Nm of torque.
