The Gilera Nexus 250 was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 4 valves scooter produced by Gilera between 2006 and 2008. Max torque was 16.96 ft/lbs (23.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 21.99 HP (16.4 KW) @ 7250 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 4 valves. A 71.1mm bore x 71.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the centrifugal.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-14 front tire and a 140/60-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260mm disc in the front and a single 240mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 35mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual adjustable shock absorbers. The Nexus 250 was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 383.6 pounds (174.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 60.24 inches (1530 mm) long.

The 2006 MY Gilera Nexus 250 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 249cc, single cylinder powerplant that was paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can reach a maximum power output of 22 horsepower and 23 Nm of torque.

Also, it comes with a dual seat with lumbar support for the rider, an under-seat storage compartment, passenger grab rails, die-cast aluminum wheels, a detachable windshield, dual headlights, front and rear disc brakes and a suspension package composed of a 35mm telescopic front fork and dual adjustable shocks in the rear.
