The Harley-Davidson XLCR 1000 Cafe Racer was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Harley-Davidson between 1977 and 1978. It could reach a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h). Max torque was 52.0 ft/lbs (70.5 Nm) @ 3800 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 55.79 HP (41.6 KW) @ 6000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 81.0mm bore x 96.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 997.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.75-19 front tire and a 4.25-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The XLCR 1000 Cafe Racer was fitted with a 2.38 Gallon (9.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 57.99 inches (1473 mm) long.
