The Hero Impulse was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Hero between 2012 and 2015. Max torque was 9.88 ft/lbs (13.4 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 12.87 HP (9.6 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-19 front tire and a 110/90-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers while the rear was equipped with a swing arm with mono suspension with nitrox. The Impulse was fitted with a 2.93 Gallon (11.10 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 53.54 inches (1360 mm) long.
