The Hero New Super Splendor was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Hero between 2012 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 56 mph (90 km/h). Max torque was 8.11 ft/lbs (11.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 8.98 HP (6.7 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 52.4mm bore x 57.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.7 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multiplate, wet.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 2.75-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic hydraulic shocks while the rear was equipped with a swing arm with 5 step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers. The New Super Splendor was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 275.58 pounds (125.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 49.8 inches (1265 mm) long.
