A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 929.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Five-spring wet type.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 190/50 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double disc 330 mm in the front and a Single disc 220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork 43 mm while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Link with gas-charged H.M.A.S. damper. The wheelbase was 55.12 inches (1400 mm) long.
2000 Honda CBR929RR Fireblade[edit | edit source]
The 1999 CBR929RR Fireblade comes with an all-new 929cc engine, a new twin spar aluminum frame and a new swingarm aseembly providing controlled flex and thus being capable to deliver excellent stability on the road.
Muscular and compact, the CBR929RR Fireblade is a bike with good streetability, and can be used for daily commuting, as well. Accessory soft luggage systems can also add touring character to the 1999 Fireblade.
2001 Honda CBR929RR Fireblade[edit | edit source]
The completely new 2000 CBR929RR is one of the lightest, best-handling, and most responsive open-class production sport bikes in the world. It represents the first use of a significant technology on a mass-production motorcycle.
An all-new 929cc engine showcases Honda's innovative power-producing technologies and pumps out a class-leading 160 bhp per liter. Also new, the lightweight, twin-spar extruded aluminum frame features a pivotless swingarm design utilizing a cast aluminum bracket attached to the swingarm pivots. This combination provides an exceptionally light, tuned-flex design offering superb road feel and excellent rigidity.
