The Honda CMX500 Rebel was a twin, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Honda between 1986 and 2018. Max torque was 31.72 ft/lbs (43.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 46.0 HP (34.3 KW) @ 8500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 67.0mm bore x 66.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 471.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate hydraulic.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/90-16 front tire and a 1150/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a showa with pro-link system. The CMX500 Rebel was fitted with a 2.96 Gallon (11.20 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 383.6 pounds (174.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.58 inches (1488 mm) long.

The CMX 450 Rebel is a cruiser type bike with a 450cc engine, the same one installed on CB450. It has a maximum power of 27 Kw at 8000rpm and a maximum torque of 32 Nm at 7000rpm.
