The Honda Shadow 400 was a v2, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Honda between 2002 and 2016. Max torque was 24.34 ft/lbs (33.0 Nm) @ 3500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 30.17 HP (22.5 KW) @ 7000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 64.0mm bore x 62.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 398.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/90-17 front tire and a 160/80-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. two-piston calipers, hydraulic in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swing arm, dual conventional dampers. The Shadow 400 was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 537.93 pounds (244.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 64.57 inches (1640 mm) long.
