The Honda V4 Crosstourer Concept was a Liquid-cooled 4-stroke Unicam 16-valve 76° V4 Enduro motorcycle produced by Honda in 2011. Max torque was 92.94 ft/lbs (126.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 129.01 HP (96.2 KW) @ 7750 RPM.

A 81.3mm bore x 81.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1237.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed manual or DCT optional transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual or DCT.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/80-R19 front tire and a 150/70-R17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 310mm disks, Combined ABS in the front and a 276mm disk, Combined ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm inverted telescopic forks with hydraulic damping, preload and rebound damping adjustment while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Link with gas-charged damper, preload and stepless rebound damping adjustment. The wheelbase was 62.8 inches (1595 mm) long.
2011 Honda V4 Crosstourer Concept[edit | edit source]
Here's a nifty concept which has in fact made it into production: the V4 Crosstourer Concept, Honda's new approach to adventure-touring. Powered by the sporty and brawny engine of the VFR1200F, and with revised gearing for the amazing Dual Clutch Transmission gearbox, this concept aims for both high-torque hill climbing and blazing high-speed hauls along the highways.
A touring bike "par excellence", the V4 Crosstourer Concept offers an upright position, plenty of storage and suspension travel, being a great machine on both asphalt and gravel. As an adventure-rourer V4 debut, the Honda V4 Crosstourer Concept is a true marvel.
