The Honda XL 600 V TRANSALP was a Liquid cooled, four-stroke. V-Twin, SOHC, 3 valves per cylinder Enduro motorcycle produced by Honda between 1987 and 1997. Max torque was 39.09 ft/lbs (53.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 54.98 HP (41.0 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 583.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 5 Speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 130/80-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 276mm disc in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic hydraulic forks while the rear was equipped with a Pro-link monoshock.
