The Hyosung GD250N was a single cylinder, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Hyosung between 2015 and 2017. Max torque was 19.18 ft/lbs (26.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 28.03 HP (20.9 KW) @ 8500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a oil & air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 73.0mm bore x 59.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 150/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a upside down fork while the rear was equipped with a swing arm with single shock absorber. The GD250N was fitted with a 2.91 Gallon (11.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 341.72 pounds (155.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.99 inches (1346 mm) long.
2015 Hyosung GD250N[edit | edit source]
The 2015 MY Hyosung GD250N has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 249cc, single cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 28 horsepower and 26 Nm of torque. This naked machine is suitable for both novice and more seasoned riders, and comes standard with upside-down KYB front forks, a KYB rear shock, lightweight wheels, an under-slung stainless muffler for a lowered center of gravity, a digital instrumentation panel, and tapered handlebars.
