The Hyosung Rush 50 was a single cylinder, two-stroke scooter produced by Hyosung between 2007 and 2012. Max torque was 2.95 ft/lbs (4.0 Nm) @ 4500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 4.96 HP (3.7 KW) @ 5000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 41.0mm bore x 37.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, centrifugal.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-12 front tire and a 120/90-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a coil spring. The Rush 50 was fitted with a 1.27 Gallon (4.80 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 194.01 pounds (88.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.0 inches (1270 mm) long.

The 2009 MY Hyosung Rush 50 is an entry-level machine, suitable for novice riders that want a light, fuel-efficient and easy-to-park daily commuter, capable of tackling any alley, no matter how narrow, one can find in the urban jungle. At its heart lies an air-cooled, two-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce 5 horsepower and 4 Nm of torque. Standard features include an under-seat storage compartment, a dual seat and passenger grab rails.
