The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 100.0mm bore x 83.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 651.9 cubic centimeters.

Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-18 front tire and a 130/90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a conventional forks while the rear was equipped with a hydraulic shocks. The 650 Police was fitted with a 3.75 Gallon (14.20 Liters) fuel tank.
