The Kawasaki Concours was a in-line four, four-stroke standard produced by Kawasaki between 2005 and 2006. Max torque was 72.28 ft/lbs (98.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 74.0mm bore x 58.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 997.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-vr18 front tire and a 150/80-vr16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm hydraulic telescopic fork with adjustable preload while the rear was equipped with a uni-trak with adjustable air pressure, 4-way rebound damping. The Concours was fitted with a 7.5 Gallon (28.38 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 595.03 pounds (269.9 Kg). The wheelbase was 61.18 inches (1554 mm) long.
