The Kawasaki GPZ 1100 is heavy plus that weight’s carried quite high. The GPZ 1100 can feel a bit of a handful at walking pace but get moving and it carries itself with amazing poise. The Kawasaki GPZ 1100 engine’s strong and easily capable of six figure mileages. An ABS equipped version of the Kawasaki GPZ 1100 was available but at just over a grand more than the standard bike few were sold and the plug was quickly pulled.

1996 - 1999 Kawasaki GPZ 1100

This modern sports-touring bike was first released in 1995. The engine is detuned version of the ZZ-R1100 with almost as much performance. Twin front disc brakes offer strong, predictable braking, and GPZ 1100 is the only Kawasaki with an optional factory-fit anti-lock barking system. The GPZ 1100 has a fuel injection system wich is a three way improvement on last year's version. Its various sensors, for throttle opening, temperatures, pressure and so on are now monitored; if one fails a on the tail mounted computer box saves time by revealing which is to blame.
