The bike has a 5-speed, return transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/90-19M/C 57H front tire and a 130/80-18M/C 66H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 300 mm disc Caliper: Twin-piston in the front and a Drum, 160 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a 39 mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Twin shocks Spring preload: 5-way. The KAWASAKI W800 Special Edition was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 57.72 inches (1466 mm) long.
2012 Kawasaki KAWASAKI W800 Special Edition[edit | edit source]
In case the casual W800 bike is nowhere near enough for your classic, retro air thirst, you should definitely look into the 2011 Kawasaki W800 Special Edition. Not only does this bike come with all the vintage-styled looks, but it also brings forth an exclusive all-black paint job.
Chrome was left behind save for some minor details, such as a minor bevel around the headlight's lens, the tank emblems and the body of the two rear shocks. The rest of the bike is matte/satin black, in a wonderful contrast with the golden rims and the grey racing stripe with gold pinstriped edges.
The 2011 Kawasaki W800 Special Edition is powered by the classic 48 PS 4-stroke 773cc parallel-twin engine and it cam offer the max torque right from 2500 rpm.
