Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a Single-speed, automatic, reverse transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 22x9-10 Duro front tire and a 22x11-10 Duro rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic drum L&R in the front and a Hydraulic drum L&R in the rear. The front suspension was a MacPherson strut while the rear was equipped with a Unit swing axle. The wheelbase was 70.12 inches (1781 mm) long.
2017 Kawasaki MULE SX[edit | edit source]
Powering the SX is a 401cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that has a surprising amount of torque. You’re not going to win any drag races with the SX, unless the other person is walking or riding a bike. Top speed is about 25 mph, but that is ok. You really wouldn’t want or need it to go any faster. The engine will pull though. Head up a steep hill and you think you’re going to run out of power, but the little Kawie keeps on chugging along. Even with a load of gear, the Mule keeps on going.
