The Kawasaki Mule 550 was a Air cooled, single cylinder OHV 4-stroke ATV produced by Kawasaki in 2004. Max torque was 14.75 ft/lbs (20.0 Nm) @ 2500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 10.06 HP (7.5 KW) @ 3600 RPM.

The bike has a 1-Speed automatic plus reverse transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic clutch.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 22 x 9-10, tubeless front tire and a 22 x 11-10, tubeless rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic drums, self-adjusting in the front and a Hydraulic drums, self-adjusting in the rear. The front suspension was a Independent swing axle with two shock absorbers while the rear was equipped with a Unit swing with two shock absorbers. The wheelbase was 66.18 inches (1681 mm) long.
