The Kawasaki VULCAN S ABS was a 4-stroke, 2-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled Cruiser motorcycle produced by Kawasaki in 2017. Max torque was 46.47 ft/lbs (63.0 Nm) @ 6600 RPM.

A 83.8mm bore x 83.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 649.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed with positive neutral finder transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70x18 front tire and a 160/60x17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 300mm disc with twin-piston caliper, ABS in the front and a Single 250mm disc with single-piston caliper, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Lay-down offset rear shock with linkage and adjustable preload. The wheelbase was 62.01 inches (1575 mm) long.

Another standout element of the 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan S is its 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. The engine is very smooth when pulling away from a traffic light, and responsive when the rider wants to accelerate.
