The bike has a 6-Speed with positive neutral finder transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70x18 front tire and a 160/60x17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 300mm disc with twin-piston caliper, ABS in the front and a Single 250mm disc with single-piston caliper, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic fork/5.1 in while the rear was equipped with a Lay-down offset rear shock with linkage and adjustable preload/3.1 in. The wheelbase was 62.01 inches (1575 mm) long.
2018 Kawasaki VULCAN S ABS CAFE[edit | edit source]
The 2018 Kawasaki Vulcan S ABS Cafe Edition has a similar six-speed gearbox with indistinguishable proportions as shared over each model in the family, however keeps running on new camshafts, admission and debilitates, and in addition a heavier flywheel. Intended to adjust the lively engine to its new cruising part, it produces 60 hp (45 kW). The torque yield doesn’t change much in top an incentive at 63 Nm (46.3 lb-ft), yet creates on an augmented bend that advantages low rpm activity.
