2012 Kawasaki Z1000 Black Edition[edit | edit source]
The Z1000 Black Edition is the special edition motorcycle for 2011. This model retains all the performance specs of the stock model, but brings some styling enhancements making it stand form the crowd.
The bike is powered by the same 138 PS 1043cc engine sporting the DOHC 4-in-line architecture, loaded into a twin-tube aluminum frame similar in concept to the 2010 Ninja ZX-10R. The bike sports a narrow build for better grip and easier knee-steering, with the redesigned fuel tank adding valuable points on both the ergonomics and look scales.
