The Keeway Matrix 50 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Keeway between 2006 and 2010. It could reach a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h). Max torque was 2.51 ft/lbs (3.4 Nm) @ 5700 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 2.95 HP (2.2 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 40.3mm bore x 39.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.3 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
