The Kymco Hipster 150 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Kymco between 2003 and 2009. Max torque was 6.86 ft/lbs (9.3 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 11.26 HP (8.4 KW) @ 9750 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 62.0mm bore x 49.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 149.4 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.00-18 front tire and a 130/90-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a double swing. The Hipster 150 was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 337.31 pounds (153.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.07 inches (1475 mm) long.

The 2005 MY Kymco Hipster 125 sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder lump paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 12 horsepower and 10 Nm of torque. It addresses novice and younger riders who want a cruiser as a first two-wheeler, but with the ease-of-use of a learner machine. Standard features include a passenger seat which can be converted into a rider backrest, passenger grab-handles, lace-spoked wheels, and lots of chrome plating throughout the motorcycle.
