The Lifan Smart 50 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Lifan in 2009. It could reach a top speed of 31 mph (50 km/h). Max torque was 1.84 ft/lbs (2.5 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 2.68 HP (2.0 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 39.0mm bore x 41.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.5 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.50-17 front tire and a 2.75-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear.
