The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 72.5mm bore x 66.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 275.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

It came with a 110/90-12 front tire and a 130/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. hydraulic in the front and a single disc. hydraulic in the rear.
