The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 48.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 125.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the automatic centrifugal dry clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-14 front tire and a 140/60-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a swinging engine and 2 hydraulic shock absorbers. The Madison 3125 was fitted with a 2.51 Gallon (9.50 Liters) fuel tank.
