The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 98.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 997.0 cubic centimeters.

It came with a 110/80-r19 front tire and a 150/50-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. brembo in the front and a single disc. brembo in the rear.
