The engine featured a 10.8:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR18 front tire and a 180/55 ZR18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 320mm discs 4 piston calipers, in the front and a Single 220mm disc 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 46mm Öhlins paioli upside down forks fully adjustable, 120mm wheel travel. while the rear was equipped with a Öhlins monoshock fully adjustable, 115mm wheel travel.. The Piega 1000 Evo was fitted with a 20 Liters / 5.2 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 179 kg / 394.6 lbs.

Mondial Piega EVO Dream Package (New Launch Dates) To celebrate the rebirth of a passionate man's dream, Mondial Moto will produce 100 special edition Piega EVO's along side the standard Piega EVO.
Roberto Ziletti, the spiritual father of the Mondial Piega has given Mondial Moto permission to brand 100 numbered special edition motorcycles with his name and that is only the beginning.
The Piega EVO "Ziletti" will differ from a standard EVO by having:
3 signatures on the bodywork, 1 on the tank and 1 on each side of the fairing also the bike will come with a numbered plaque.
Different color scheme that is unique only to the Ziletti Special.
A set of made to measure Mondial Race leathers that will be numbered and signed in the same manner as the bike.
A leather bound package containing a hardcover 'History Of The Piega' book
