The bike has a Automatic CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic centrifugal dry clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/80-12 front tire and a 130/80-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 220mm disc with dual-piston floating caliper in the front and a Drum 140 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Hydraulic telescopic fork with straight stanchions while the rear was equipped with a Hydraulic single shock absorber w. spring preload. The wheelbase was 52.99 inches (1346 mm) long.
2017 Piaggio TYPHOON 125 4S 4V[edit | edit source]
The Typhoon starts out with a double-cradle, trellis frame made of steel tubing. I prefer a proper underframe as opposed to a stressed-skin, monocoque structure. It’s stronger, easier to make body repairs and allows for a full step-through with a nice,flat cargo deck between the rider’s feet.
