The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 66.0mm bore x 58.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 199.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 130/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a spring shock absorber. The XF200 was fitted with a 2.71 Gallon (10.26 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 270.95 pounds (122.9 Kg). The wheelbase was 55.31 inches (1405 mm) long.
