The SYM MAXSYM 600i ABS was a Single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled scooter produced by SYM in 2016. Max torque was 31.72 ft/lbs (43.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 41.17 HP (30.7 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

A 91.4mm bore x 91.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 565.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a C.V.T., auto speed change transmission. Power was moderated via the Centrifugal.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-R15 56S front tire and a 160/60-R14 65H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double dsic in the front and a Single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Unit swing. The wheelbase was 61.42 inches (1560 mm) long.

The overall size and the architecture of the 600i is the same as the Maxsym 400i, and its just the engine size that is expanded from 399cc to 565cc by increasing the bore size and stroke length. The 600 is a little heavier than the 400 but not noticeably and in fact it may be my imagination but I thought the 600 was easier to get on the centre stand.
