The SYM MIO 100 was a Single cylinder, 4-stroke, Air-cooled scooter produced by SYM in 2015. Max torque was 5.9 ft/lbs (8.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 7.78 HP (5.8 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

A 50.8mm bore x 50.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 101.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a C.V.T. transmission. Power was moderated via the Centrifugal.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-10 50J front tire and a 90/90-10 50J rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single hydraulic disc 160mm in the front and a Drum 110mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Twin sided swing arm. The wheelbase was 46.5 inches (1181 mm) long.
2015 SYM MIO 100[edit | edit source]
Mio is fitted with an engine immobiliser which can be turned on or off by using the toggle switch located underneath the seat, maybe not as safe as a coded immobiliser but it’s better than nothing. Looking around the scooter you’ll notice plenty of stylish bits and pieces - flush fitting indicators.
