The SYM MIO 50 was a Ceramic cylinder, 4-stroke, air cooled scooter produced by SYM between 2016 and 2017. Max torque was 2.21 ft/lbs (3.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 1.88 HP (1.4 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

A 38.1mm bore x 38.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a C.V.T. Auto Speed Change transmission. Power was moderated via the Centrifugal, Dry Type.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.0-10 42J front tire and a 90/90-10 50J rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Disc in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic Fork while the rear was equipped with a Unit Swing. The wheelbase was 46.46 inches (1180 mm) long.
2016 SYM MIO 50[edit | edit source]
The 2016 Mio50 is a great combination of sweeping lines, stunning dimensions and plenty of little touches here and there. The engine is a 49cc air cooled with SYM propietary Ceramic-Coated Cylinder tecnology which improves propertise of wear and heat resistance.
2017 SYM MIO 50[edit | edit source]
Performance is pretty solid for a four stroke 50cc bike. Ease of use is very high as it is very light and simple to put on the centre stand and generally move around.
