The SYM TONIK 50 was a Single cylinder, 4-stroke, Air-cooled scooter produced by SYM in 2015. Max torque was 2.21 ft/lbs (3.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 3.08 HP (2.3 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

A 38.1mm bore x 38.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.4 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a C.V.T. transmission. Power was moderated via the Centrifugal.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-10 front tire and a 90/90-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Unit swing. The wheelbase was 47.99 inches (1219 mm) long.
2015 SYM TONIK 50[edit | edit source]
The Tonik 50 is built around a tubular steel chassis and fitted with a telescopic fork and rear monoshock. The wheels are 10 in whilst nowadays 12in is most often used. The Sym Tonik has fitted a 4 stroke 49.5 cc, developing 2.3 KW at 7500 rev / min (3.13 hp). The Tonik 50 is fun to drive thanks to its chassis, agility and pretty cool driving position
