The Suzuki Hayate EP was a single cylinder, four-stroke Road motorcycle produced by Suzuki between 2013 and 2018. Max torque was 6.86 ft/lbs (9.3 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 8.58 HP (6.4 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 51.0mm bore x 55.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 113.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the dry shoe, centrifugal automatic.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 70/100-17 front tire and a 80/100-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks, 5-step adjustable. The Hayate EP was fitted with a 2.64 Gallon (10.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 238.1 pounds (108.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 51.38 inches (1305 mm) long.
