The Suzuki RG 125E was a Single cylinder, two-stroke, piston valve Classic motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 1980. Max torque was 8.85 ft/lbs (12.0 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 15.96 HP (11.9 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

A 43.2mm bore x 43.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 3.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc, hydraulic in the front and a Drum, internal expanding in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic, oil dampened while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm, dual shocks, coils, oil dampened. The wheelbase was 50.0 inches (1270 mm) long.

The Suzuki RG 125E was launched 1978, simultanously with RG 185, formerly knows as GT 125 and GT 185 with new paint jobs. Neverthelsess, the RG 125 was still sold in some countries with its old name, GT 125. In some countries the model was known as X4. The RG 125 didn't have the Ram-Air cylinder head of the older GT 125.
