The Suzuki Skywave 250 Type S Basic was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Suzuki between 2005 and 2016. Max torque was 18.44 ft/lbs (25.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 25.48 HP (19.0 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 69.0mm bore x 66.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the automatic centrifugal.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/80-14 front tire and a 150/70-13 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic, 41mm inner tube while the rear was equipped with a progressive linkage. The Skywave 250 Type S Basic was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 381.4 pounds (173.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.4 inches (1585 mm) long.
