The Suzuki Skywave 400 Type S ABS was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Suzuki between 2005 and 2016. Max torque was 24.34 ft/lbs (33.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 30.31 HP (22.6 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 81.0mm bore x 77.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 399.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the automatic centrifugal.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/80-14 front tire and a 150/70-13 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. hydraulic. in the front and a single disc. abs. hydraulic. in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a link-type, kyb coil spring, oil damped with adjustable spring preload. The Skywave 400 Type S ABS was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 489.43 pounds (222.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.4 inches (1585 mm) long.
