The Vespa GTS 250 i.e was a Single Cylinder, Four-stroke, Four-valve scooter produced by Vespa in 2005. Max torque was 14.75 ft/lbs (20.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 21.99 HP (16.4 KW) @ 8250 RPM.

It came with a 120/70-12 front tire and a 130/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Disc in the front and a Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Single-sided Trailing Arm With Dual Chamber Hydraulic Shock Absorber With Coaxial Spring while the rear was equipped with a Helical Spring With Adjustable Four-position Pre-load And Two Dual Effect Hydraulic Shock Absorbers. The wheelbase was 54.88 inches (1394 mm) long.

The new model of 2005 GTS IE is a smooth number, whether you are cruising along in the summer sun, battling the traffic to work or on a weekend road trip on the open road. The 21 h (15.6 Kw), fuel injected, foir-stroke motor is the most powerful engine that Vespa produce. It has strong consistent power perfect for overtaking and will easily out accelerate most four wheeled transport. The GTS also sits effortlessly at the speed limit on the open road. At idle it has a gentle lumpy throb due to the large single cylinder motor.
