The Yamaha BW's 12inch was a Single cylinder, air-cooled, 2-stroke scooter produced by Yamaha in 2013. Max torque was 2.95 ft/lbs (4.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 2.95 HP (2.2 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

A 40.6mm bore x 40.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a Automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic CVT.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-12 front tire and a 130/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum, 180 mm in the front and a Drum, 110 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks 70 mm travel while the rear was equipped with a Unit Swing, 70 mm travel. The wheelbase was 46.1 inches (1171 mm) long.

Bigger wheels equal bigger fun, and Yamaha knows this. So it was only natural that the BW's Easy got a new version, this time with 12-inch wheels. Obviously named BW's 12inch, this scooter boasts all the nifty features of the base mode: a punchy and fuel-efficient 2-stroke 49cc engine, the rugged construction which can carry rider and passenger even on less-than-ideal terrain and the acclaimed Yamaha reliability.
