The Yamaha FJR-1300ES was a Liquid-cooled DOHC inline 4-cylinder; 16 valves Sport touring motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2017 and 2018. Max torque was 101.79 ft/lbs (138.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 107.01 HP (79.8 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1298.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70ZR17 front tire and a 180/55ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 320mm discs; Unified Brake System and ABS in the front and a 282mm disc; Unified Brake System and ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm inverted fork with electronically adjustable rebound and compression damping; 5.3-in travel while the rear was equipped with a Single shock with electronically adjustable spring preload, rebound and compression damping; 4.9-in travel. The wheelbase was 60.79 inches (1544 mm) long.

The 2016 Yamaha FJR-1300ES features a compact and lightweight, 1298cc, DOHC, 16 valve, liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine that delivers superb power and torque for unequaled muscular acceleration across the RPM range. The 2018 FJR1300ES features a 6-speed transmission, lean angle sensitive cornering headlight system, plus electronically adjusted suspension.
