Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-Speed Yamaha Chip-Controlled Shift (YCC-S) transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-discs.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 320 mm in the front and a Single disc 283 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a 48mm upside-down telescopic fork w/adjustable preload, compression and rebound damping while the rear was equipped with a Single shock, link-type, w/adjustable preload and rebound damping. The wheelbase was 6.1 inches (155 mm) long.
