The Yamaha FZ 16S was a Single cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled Naked motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2011. Max torque was 10.33 ft/lbs (14.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 13.95 HP (10.4 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

A 58.4mm bore x 58.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 153.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/80-17 front tire and a 140/60-R17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 257 mm in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Monocross type. The wheelbase was 52.52 inches (1334 mm) long.

For 2010 Yamaha FZ 16S is a stylish 153cc 4-stroke bike, it is different from its sibling Yamaha FZ in style only. The FZ S has unique chiseled small windshield perfectly covering the carbon pattern meter console.
