The Yamaha FZ 400 FAZER was a In-line four, four-stroke, liquid-cooled Naked motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1997. Max torque was 28.03 ft/lbs (38.0 Nm) @ 9500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 52.97 HP (39.5 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 399.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/70-R17 front tire and a 160/60-R17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual discs in the front and a Single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock. The wheelbase was 55.91 inches (1420 mm) long.
