2003 Yamaha Road Star Midnight Star[edit | edit source]
The 2002 Road Star Midnight Star takes the already elegant base model to the next level, adding a beefy chromed front end, all-steel, fluid, deeply valanced fenders, classy wire spoked wheels and plenty of other chrome parts and accents.
As if the looks of this bike were not more than enough to turn heads, the 2002 Road Star Midnight Star also brings forth the thundering rumble of its 1602cc v-twin engine, getting juice by means of a 40mm TPS sensor carb and delivering torque on tap in any gear, at any rpm. And to make things really classic, a belt drive was also used.
2004 Yamaha Road Star Midnight Star[edit | edit source]
"If it's got Midnight in its name, then it's a black Onyx beauty", says the rule, and the 2003 Road Star Midnight makes no exception to it. Easy to distinguish by the sober, luxurious black livery, this bike also comes with a black painted engine with polished fins, just like most other Midnight machines out there.
The 1670cc v-twin engine is mated to a 5-speed overdrive transmission and comes with a classic, maintenance-free belt drive. The passenger seat of this model has been revised and the touring rider's saddle has also been restyled form increased long-haul comfort.
