The Yamaha V-Star 1300 Tourer was a Liquid-cooled V-twin, SOHC, 4 valves/cylinder Cruiser motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2007 and 2012. Max torque was 81.87 ft/lbs (111.0 Nm) @ 4000 RPM.

A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1304.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-Speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multidisc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 130/90-16 front tire and a 170/70B-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual hydraulic disc 298mm in the front and a Single hydraulic disc 298mm in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm KYB fork 5.3-in travel while the rear was equipped with a Single shock; 4.3-in travel. The wheelbase was 66.5 inches (1689 mm) long.

The suffix of the 2006 V-Star 1300 Tourer is pretty much self-explanatory: Star has equipped this bike with all the basic add-ons required for your next trip to the ocean beach furthest from your home. These upgrades include a tall windscreen, leather-clad hard saddlebags, and passenger backrest, complemented by the rider floorboards.

Of course the touring options can be easily removed for solo rides aboard the bike showing its muscular cruiser guise. 1304cc of liquid-cooled Star technology provide plenty of passing power and torque to make you smile in almost any scenario.

The 2008 MY V-Star 1300 Tourer is ready for the long haul straight out of the box. It comes equipped with a passenger backrest, lockable leather-clad saddlebags and a generous windscreen, so technically, you'll just load up, fuel up and hit the road.

This middleweight tourer is powered by an 1304cc liquid-cooled injected v-twin, but the classic air-cooled looks have been maintained. A beefy front tire adds a massive look to the bike's front end, and complements the cast wheels quite nicely, while the black/chrome alternation and the impeccable paint make the V-Star 1300 Tourer look as sharp as any other premium bike out there.

Being such a popular middleweight cruiser, the 2009 MY V-Star 1300 obviously received a Tourer version, adding exceptional road worthiness right from the box. A true get-go beast, the 2009 V-Star 1300 Tourer brings forth the convenience of leather-covered hard cases, a reassuring passenger backrest, plus the tall windscreen which adds solid weather protection for the long hauls in less-than-ideal weather.

The open-road version of the all-new V Star 1300 rolls out with a windshield, leather-wrapped, hard sidebags and a passenger backrest. Midsize Star brings modern classic styling along for a lighter, sportier, hot-rod-inspired ride. 80-cubic-inch (1304cc) liquid-cooled, fuel-injected V-twin produces excellent power across the board along with a highly stimulating exhaust note. Modern-classic design, including a flangeless gas tank and two-into-one exhaust, gives the V Star 1300 that distinctive Star look.

The steel chassis gets 48 percent of the bike’s weight on the front tire, for quick, light handling and maneuverability. Authentic cruiser features such as belt drive and steel fenders open up the customization possibilities even further. The V Star 1300 Tourer achieves fuel economy up to an estimated 42 mpg with a fuel tank that holds 4.9 gallons of gas.
