The Yamaha XMax 400 Iron Max was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Yamaha in 2019. Max torque was 26.55 ft/lbs (36.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 32.18 HP (24.0 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 83.0mm bore x 73.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 395.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-15 front tire and a 150/70-13 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a unit swing. The XMax 400 Iron Max was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 61.69 inches (1567 mm) long.
