The Yamaha XTZ1200 Super Tenere Worldcrosser was a twin, four-stroke standard produced by Yamaha in 2013. Max torque was 84.16 ft/lbs (114.1 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 106.21 HP (79.2 KW) @ 7250 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 98.0mm bore x 79.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1199.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/80-r19 front tire and a 150/70-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs/unified brake system in the front and a single disc. abs/unified brake system in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork, 43mm tube, adjustable preload, compression and rebound damping, while the rear was equipped with a swingarm, (link suspension). The XTZ1200 Super Tenere Worldcrosser was fitted with a 6.0 Gallon (22.71 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 60.59 inches (1539 mm) long.
