The Yamaha YZ250F 50th Anniversary was a Liquid-cooled, 5-valve, DOHC, 4-stroke w/titanium valves Enduro motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2006. Max torque was 20.65 ft/lbs (28.0 Nm) @ 8500 RPM.

A 76.2mm bore x 76.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5 speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 80/100-21 front tire and a 100/90-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 250mm floating disc in the front and a 245mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Fully adjustable 48mm Kayaba inverted fork while the rear was equipped with a Fully adjustable link monocross Kayaba. The wheelbase was 58.5 inches (1486 mm) long.
2006 Yamaha YZ250F 50th Anniversary[edit | edit source]
Even though from a distance, the yellow livery of the 2005 YZ250F 50th Anniversary might trick you into believing you're seeing a Suzuki, this is only good-old, proven Yamaha technology. Like several other highly-popular Yamaha machines, the 4-stroek quarter-liter off-road beast got an anniversary edition.
It sports all the features and revisions of the base mode, but its livery will surely make a lot of eyebrows raise, as people draw nearer and observe the three tuning forks.
